Long before Portugal became familiar with the concept of street art, building facades displayed tiles, sidewalks adorned streets and squares, and walls exhibited images of social critique, struggle, and revolt - especially after the April 25th, 1974 revolution. Over the years, the concept settled in and revitalized the capital, placing Lisbon at the top of the list of the best cities to see street art. An explosion of themes and visual stimuli that includes the neighborhoods of Graça and Marvila, where we will come across artists such as Mariana Dias Coutinho, Leonor Brilha, Isa Silva, Zizi Ramires, Moami31, Sphiza, Pitanga, Las Medianeras, Add Fuel, Vhils, André Saraiva, Mário Belém, PichiAvo, Bordalo II, Jorge Romão, Shepard Fairey, Kobra, Cix, among many others.
